Eastwinds incorporates the well established kennel prefixes of "Kelzarki" and "Cosyvista" with "Eastwinds Arabian Farm" and a very small, recently added, Thoroughbred Horse program.

The original kennel prefixes were established in the early 1960's and have achieved considerable fame in the breeding and showing of a variety of dog breeds. Over the years "Best In Show" winners have been bred and/or owned in the following breeds:
Maltese
Pomeranians
Yorkshire Terriers
Papillons
Afghan Hounds
Lakeland Terriers
Kerry Blue Terriers
Smooth Fox Terriers
American Cocker Spaniels
English Cocker Spaniels

Today the kennel is very well known for its imported, and locally bred, "Best In Show" winning : Bichon Frise Cavalier King Charles Spaniels The Principals of the Farm are both licensed dog judges and have officiated at venues around the world.

They each bring over 40 years experience in the hobby of owning, breeding and exhibiting pure bred dogs. Arabian Horses joined the farm at the end of the 1970's.

During the last 25 years, in limited showing, the farm has established itself as one of the most successful enterprises in the Arabian Industry in Australia.

Horses bred or owned by Eastwinds have won at every level. Horses have been imported from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany and Spain to enhance an eclectic group established from the best blood available in this country.

Thoroughbreds are our newest venture, joining the farm only this year (2005). Three foals are expected this year; these are by "CATCHER IN THE RYE" [Ireland] (by Danehill), "ARENA" (by Danehill) and "NUCLEAR FREEZE" [USA](Own brother to Danehill). The Farm itself is situated in the beautiful MacArthur Valley, a few minutes drive from the historic town of Camden, near the Sydney University Vet School, and only an hour or so from Sydney itself.
